Vertical Seam Explanation
For pinch pleat curtains, when the finished length is over 108 inches and the width is greater than 56 inches, a vertical seam with double-width panels is required. If the finished length is over 108 inches but the width is 56 inches or less, no seam is needed. When the finished length is 108 inches or less, curtains of any width come without seams.

FAQs

What is the difference between "light filtering" and "blackout" curtains?

These drapes are light filtering, meaning they block about 50% of light. They are perfect for a living room or dining room where you want to reduce glare and add privacy while still enjoying soft, diffused natural light. They are not blackout curtains, which are designed to block 95-100% of light and are better suited for bedrooms.

What exactly is "Linen Texture" fabric? Is it 100% linen?

Our linen texture fabric (made of 15% Linen, 85% Recycled Fibers) is designed to give you the luxurious look and feel of pure linen but with enhanced durability and easier care. The 220gsm fabric is thick, drapes beautifully, and provides that elegant, high-end aesthetic you see in luxurious living room curtains

How do I choose the right width for Pinch Pleated drapes?

For Pinch Pleated drapes, measuring is easy! The pleats are already crafted into the header. You just need to measure the exact width of your curtain rod or track. We recommend ordering a total width that is 1.0x to 1.2x your track width for a full, custom look. For example, if your rod is 100 inches, a 100-inch wide panel (or two 50-inch panels) will look perfect.

Are these drapes suitable for a formal dining room?

Absolutely. The classic Pinch Pleat header is a timeless, tailored style that is ideal for formal spaces. This style is one of the most popular formal dining room curtain ideas because it creates an elegant, sophisticated drape that enhances the room's decor, especially for entertaining guests.

Does "Sold Individually" mean I only get one panel?

Yes, "Sold Individually" means the price is for one single panel. If you have a standard window and want a pair of curtains (one panel on each side), you will need to add a quantity of two to your cart.

Can I get fabric samples before ordering?

Yes, we highly recommend ordering fabric swatches. Since the linen texture and color can vary slightly under different lighting, getting a free fabric sample is the best way to ensure the curtains match your decor perfectly before you commit to a full order.

How do I care for and wash these linen-blend drapes?

To maintain the beauty of your drapes, we recommend dry cleaning. For minor wrinkles from shipping, you can use a steamer or a cool iron on the reverse side. Avoid machine washing, as it can damage the fabric's texture and the structure of the pleats.

Are your drapes custom-sized? Can I use them for very tall living room windows?

Yes, we specialize in custom elegant curtains. You can specify the exact width and length you need, making them perfect for non-standard or exceptionally tall windows often found in a living room or dining room. Our custom curtain fabric linen look ensures that even extra-large drapes maintain a perfect, beautiful drape and luxurious texture.

Should I choose floor-length or short curtains for my dining room?

This is an important style question. For these Luxury Pinch Pleated Drapes, we highly recommend choosing a floor-length style to create the formal, high-end look they are designed for. While standard short curtain lengths are common in kitchens, drapes that hang to the floor (either just touching or puddling slightly) provide a much more elegant and complete look for a living room or dining room.

I have three windows next to each other in my dining room. How should I order?

This is a great question for a dining room setting. If your layout involves curtains on three windows, you have a few options:

  1. Three Pairs (6 panels): Hang one pair on each window for a classic, defined look.
  2. One or Two Wide Panels: Use one very wide panel (or a pair) to cover the entire span, allowing them to stack neatly to the sides when open.

Since our panels are "Sold Individually," you can buy the exact number you need. We highly recommend placing your full order at one time. This ensures we can provide a curtain set of 3 service (or 6, etc.) by making all your panels from the same dye lot, guaranteeing a perfect color and linen texture match across all windows.

How should I measure the size of the curtains I need?

We have prepared a detailed measurement guide for you.

How do I determine the width of pleated curtains?

For pleated curtains, the panel width refers to the width after the pleats have been set. Generally, we use twice the amount of fabric to create the pleats and folds to ensure the best results. The panel width is measured from the left end to the right end of the pleats, rather than the distance from the left lower hem to the right lower hem.

How do I determine the length of pleated curtain styles?

Measure the distance from the bottom of the curtain rod to the floor to determine the length of your pinch pleat curtains.

Should I consider how full the pleated header should be?

For pleated curtains, the pleats are permanently sewn in, and we typically use 200% fabric fullness.
For example, if your curtain rod or track is 100 inches long, you can order two panels, each 50 inches wide, to suit pleated header styles.

What does the stackback width refer to?

Typically, the stackback width is approximately 20% of the ordered width. Therefore, if you want the entire window opening to be visible when the curtains are open, please take the stackback width into account when choosing the length of the curtain rod.

Do I need to buy pin hooks for the pleated curtain style?

Each THREE GIRLS panel comes with adjustable plastic hooks, making it easy to fine-tune the hanging height to fit your space perfectly.

Is there any instruction regarding the number of pleats for pleated curtains?

About Pleat Calculation and Pleat Count

To calculate the number of pleats, divide the panel width by 5, then add 1.
Example:
40" panel ÷ 5 + 1 = 9 pleats
72" panel ÷ 5 + 1 = 16 pleats
84" panel ÷ 5 + 1 = 18 pleats

What size do I need to sew double-width curtains?

If the finished height is over 108", any width over 56" will require seams.
For heights of 108" or less, any width can be made seamless.
If your dimensions exceed these limits, double-width panels with vertical seams will be necessary.

What is the maximum size of curtains with memory shaping?

Memory Training Maximum Size:
width 160 inches; length 263 inches.

Is it necessary for my curtains to undergo memory shaping treatment?

Absolutely! This shaping technology gives the fabric “body memory,” helping your curtains maintain crisp, structured lines from top to bottom. The pleats stay elegant and defined, with no flaring at the bottom. In contrast, regular curtains often lose their shape over time, resulting in a less polished look.

How long can the curtains maintain their shape after undergoing memory shaping treatment?

It is permanent.

Can I machine wash the curtains?

Yes, our curtains are machine washable. Please follow these care instructions:
• Machine wash cold
• Use gentle cycle
• Do not bleach
• Tumble dry low
• Iron on the lowest setting if needed

If you choose our Healthy Curtain Cleaning Service, your curtains will be pre-washed and treated before production. This helps lock in the final size and shape, so you won’t have to worry about shrinkage after future washes. Your curtains will maintain their beautiful drape and fit right out of the box—and stay that way.
