The curtain rod suitable for pinch pleat curtains

For pleated curtains, by default, use double the amount of fabric. When placing an order, assume that the length of the curtain rod is 80 inches.

Pinch Pleat Style
Pinch pleat curtains feature tightly gathered, permanently stitched pleats that create a structured and elegant drape. Commonly referred to as French pleats or double pleats, this style provides a fuller, more luxurious appearance than standard curtain headings.

About Pleat Calculation and Pleat Count:
To calculate the number of pleats, divide the panel width by 5, then add 1.

72" panel ÷ 5 + 1 = 16 pleats
84" panel ÷ 5 + 1 = 18 pleats
Compatible with:
● Curtain tracks (including traverse rods)
● Channel rods
● Decorative poles with rings

How do I calculate how many pleats my curtain panel will have?
Divide the panel width by 5 inches (the standard pleat spacing) and then add 1. The formula is: Number of pleats = (Panel width ÷ 5) + 1.
For example, a 40-inch panel will have 9 pleats.
How do I measure the width of my curtain panel?
Fully open your curtain panel and measure from the left edge of the first pleat to the right edge of the last pleat. Do not include the 2-inch side tuck on either side.
What is the standard spacing between pleats? Can it be adjusted?
The standard pleat spacing is 5 inches. However, to perfectly fit curtain rods between 36" and 120" long, the spacing can be slightly adjusted for a balanced and even drape.
What is curtain stack width?
Curtain stack width is typically about 20% of the total ordered width, but this can vary depending on the fabric and header style.
What types of fabrics and curtain rods work best with this header style?
This style works great with medium to heavyweight fabrics and is compatible with track rods, standard curtain rods, grooved rods, and ringed rods. It comes with adjustable plastic hooks for easy hanging and offers a clean, elegant look.
