- Order Width = Actual Inside Window Width
- Order Height = Inside Window Height
- Recommended window frame depth: 2 inches.
- Subtract 3/16 inches on our side.
lf the width has a 1/16" or 1/32" increment, round it down to the nearest 1/8".
Outside Mount
- A taller appearance.
- Outside window frame.
- No minimum depth requirement.
- Ordered Width= Outside Headrail Width.
- Please add 4 to 6 inches to the measured width of the sash to avoid light gaps.

Do I need to subtract 3/16 inch?
If you are ordering inside-mount bamboo shades, we will automatically deduct 3/16" on our side to ensure a proper fit — no need to make any deductions yourself.
If you are ordering outside-mount bamboo shades, no deduction is needed.
How to Measure for OUTSIDE MOUNT Shades?
Please add 4 to 6 inches to the measured width of the sash to avoid light gaps.

What are the cords and rings on the back of the shade for? Can I cut the cords?
Please do not cut the cords or touch the lifting mechanism on the back. These parts are essential for the shade to function properly. Cutting or adjusting them may damage the product and make it unusable.
For manual shades, how do I lift and pull off?
Please do not attempt to pull the fabric or unfold the shade before it is fully installed. Operating the shade while the headrail is not securely mounted can cause the internal cords to tangle and damage the shade.
Damage caused by improper handling is not covered by after-sales service. Once installed, use both hands to gently and evenly lift or pull down the bottom rail.
Avoid pulling from just one side.
